I hope you are finding ways to stay warm during this very cold snap.  I read a piece in the paper this morning that said that it is so cold that even the folks at the nudist colony have decided to wear clothes for a while!

In these early days of 2018 most of us are trying to get a little rest following the hubbub of the holidays…Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years, and all the other celebrations that happen this time of year.  Let’s plan to spend time talking about your celebrations…what you found enjoyable and what you plan to do differently later this year.

We look forward to hearing from each of you. Remember that during construction at CUMC we are meeting in the Community Room at the First Congregational UCC across Center Street from CUMC. The handicapped entrance can be found on the side of the church by the parking lot.

All are welcome!  Contact the church office at 630-355-1483 if you have questions or need additional information.

  • 1:15 pm – Gather in Community Room at First Congregational UCC
  • 1:30 pm – Chapel service with Communion
  • 2:00 pm – Support groups are available for caregivers and survivors

Come for both or either.

Weather permitting, we hope to see you next Thursday.
