For more than 25 years, the Methodist Church has sanctioned covenant groups to help members explore their faith more deeply, and with more accountability. Community UMC currently has two covenant groups but always has room for more. The groups of about 4-8 men or women meet weekly for an hour at a schedule they determine to discuss their successes and failures in following a set of agreed-upon disciplines. The trust within each group allows members to accept themselves and one another by seeking the grace of God.
