The UMW’s annual Harvest of the Hands Craft Show and Bake Sale is held each year in November. This year’s sale is Saturday, November 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Dozens of local crafters will have their wares available for sale. In the past these have included jewelry, belts and purses, doll clothing and accessories, pottery and glassware, yard and lawn ornaments, quilts, knit goods, home decorations, and Christmas items. Each crafter also donates one item to our Silent Auction. UMW Studio Workshop and the Knitting Circle also have a booth to display their goods, and the UMW has a bake sale table. Proceeds from booth rentals, the silent auction and the UMW tables support the United Methodist Women’s missions and ministries.

Donations of crafts or baked goods for the UMW tables are welcome, and volunteers are needed to help set up, work the day of the sale, and clean up afterward; watch for more information as the sale date approaches.
