UMW Book Circle has selected The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom as the book to kick off the new season. Discussion will be led by Ann Steele at the traditional kickoff potluck on Wednesday, September 18, at 6pm at the home of Mary Catherine Long, 1133 Drury Lane, Aurora.

This is a gripping tale about oppression of slaves and indentured servants in the antebellum South. Read the book and join us.

Please call Marty Schwab at 630-369-9514 by noon on Tuesday, Sept. 17, if you are attending and what you plan to bring to the potluck.
