Please join the Diversity Outreach Committee for a six-week book study on I’m Still Here: Black Dignity in a World Made for Whiteness, by Austin Channing Brown. All meetings will take place on Zoom. Weekly discussions will give us an opportunity to share our experiences and perspectives about race and racism. Author Austin Channing Brown says this about her book:

“My hope would be for the church to be inspired to take the next step, whatever the next step is, to not be comfortable, to not think we’ve arrived, to think, ‘What’s the next step? What’s the next brave thing to do?’”

The six-week study with weekly guided discussions on Thursdays at 7:00 pm will begin on June 18, 2020. Discussions will be led by Beth Hagemeyer and Sharon DeWaard.
