Hello to all,

I hope you are all finding ways to stay warm during these cold winter days. I wanted to let you know that our next combined Interfaith Reminiscence and Senior Service will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at 10:30am at Community United Methodist Church. Our theme for the day is “Comfort” and we will be talking about how we can be strengthened by the knowledge that God’s loving presence is with us even in our darkest hours.

Our scripture for the day is taken from 2 Thessalonians 2: 16-17: May our Lord … who loved us and through grace gave us eternal comfort and good hope, comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word.

Gary Chipman will be with us and will play his soprano saxophone for the service. His selections include “O Perfect Love” and” My Funny Valentine. Kim Johnson will play some sing-along Valentine songs as we enjoy the fellowship and fun of being together.

We hope to see you on February 19. This service is open to everyone. If you have questions or need additional information, please contact the church office at 630-355-1483.

Peace and joy,
