The Bible tells us many stories of Jesus’ service to people who were not widely accepted by the general population. For many, those acts of service to others represent the true spirit of Christianity. Our Human Relations Day collection provides financial support to those struggling to survive at the margins of society, allowing each of us to play a small role in these acts of service. UMC sponsors programs to serve a variety of individuals: those recently incarcerated, recovering addicts, teen moms and more. Your financial support allows these UMC programs to extend a helping hand to more people, giving them a chance to overcome the challenges before them.

Community UMC will celebrate Human Relations Day on November 15th and 16th.
