Garrison Keillor once said that “A lovely thing about Christmas is that it’s compulsory, like a thunderstorm, and we all go through it together.” This year is no exception. As we prepare for celebrating all the wonders associated with the birth of the baby Jesus, there are many things that can get in the way of a truly joyful season.

When our STARS (Spiritual Time And Renewal for Survivors) group gets together on Thursday, December 12, we will be sharing our thoughts on how we are preparing for the celebration. We hope you can join us. The service with communion begins at 1:30 pm with the separate support groups for survivors and caregivers starting at 2:00 pm. Come for either, or better yet, come for both. There will be cookies!

Till then, Ho, Ho, Ho!

  • 1:15 pm – Gathering
  • 1:30 pm – Chapel service with Communion
  • 2:00 pm – Support groups are available for caregivers and survivors

Come for both or either. It is helpful if you could let us know if you are planning to be with us. However, drop-ins are always welcome.
