With all the wet and chilly weather that we have been having, it is hard to believe that the summer season will start on June 21st.  Dare I say, “Enjoy the cool weather while you can?”

This month the STARS group will be sharing ideas about how to make this our best summer ever.  Now, I know that many of you may think that you have already had your best summer when you were younger, but …..maybe not.  As Dolly Parton once said, “The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain”.   So, think about joining us as we talk about the kinds of things that we can do now to see rainbows this summer.

I hope to see you on June 8 at 1:30pm for the interfaith service and/or at 2pm for the caregiver and survivor groups.  Come early if you can so we can catch up with what has been going on in your lives since our last meeting.

All are welcome!  Contact the church office at 630-355-1483 if you have questions or need additional information.

  • 1:15 pm – Gather in Room 307
  • 1:30 pm – Chapel service with Communion
  • 2:00 pm – Support groups are available for caregivers and survivors in Room 101

Come for both or either.
