Hello to everyone,

Although the weather outside has been frightful your hearts will be warmed by beautiful music at our next STARS meeting.

Since Valentines Day is the next day, February 14, we have decided to go with love as our musical theme.  Kim Johnson, pianist and vocalist, will share her talent with us and has promised to  play “Glory of Love” and a couple jazz hymns, as pre-service music and something classical during communion.   We will have another talented musician with us at our next session.   Jason Thompson, a clarinetist, will play Allegro from Flute Sonata in E by J.S. Bach for us.  For those who have heard Jason play, you know what a treat this will be.

I hope to see you all next Thursday.  Until then, stay warm and be careful on those icy sidewalks and streets.    To recap,  the next STARS meeting at Community United Methodist Church will be on Thursday, February 13.  We will start gathering at about 1:15 pm and start the service at 1:30 pm.  If you are coming just for the support groups, those start at 2:00 pm.  It would be helpful to us if you could RSVP your attendance prior to next Thursday.

Please call/email the church office  if you have questions or need additional information.
