
Mmmmmmm! Pie!
So you ordered our delicious pies for the ASP Pie Fundraiser (and we are soo grateful!). Now what? See below for instructions for cooking each of the pies.
Apple Pie
- Preheat the oven to 425F **do not thaw frozen pie**
- Before baking, crack one egg into a small bowl and “scramble it”, brushing egg wash atop crust. Sprinkle raw sugar atop the crust if desired
- Place pie in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes at 425F
- Turn the pie (180 degrees) and reduce heat to 375F and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
- Preheat the oven to 425F **do not thaw frozen pie**
- Before baking, crack one egg into a small bowl and “scramble it”, brushing egg wash atop crust. Sprinkle raw sugar atop the crust if desired.
- Place pie in oven and bake for 15-20 minutes at 425F
- Turn the pie (180 degrees) and reduce heat to 375F and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown—**every 20 minutes, turn pie 180 degrees**
Triple Berry Pie
- Preheat the oven to 425F **do not thaw frozen pie**
- Before baking, crack one egg into a small bowl and “scramble it”, brushing egg wash atop crust. Sprinkle raw sugar atop the crust if desired.
- Place pie in oven and bake for 20 minutes at 425F
- Turn the pie (180 degrees) and reduce heat to 350F and bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
