Tour of the Trees & Christmas Party @ 7pm, Welcome Center
Gather in the Welcome Center on Friday, December 22, to get your map and voting ticket. Tour the decorations and enjoy the night lights. Then gather in Fellowship Hall to vote for your favorite tree. Extra voting tickets can be purchased during the event. All money collected will go to the charity of the winning tree’s choice. We will decorate cookies, enjoy fellowship time and sing along to Christmas music led by Joline on piano. EVERYONE is welcome – invite friends and neighbors and show off our beautiful church!

Jazz Brunch @ 10am, Fellowship Hall
Join us for brunch/worship as OneCUMC on Christmas Eve morning. We’ll gather together in the Fellowship Hall where we will meet new friends, eat yummy food, and enjoy great (live!) jazz music from North Central College’s own jazz ensemble The Wild Cards. Pastor Jacob will bring us the message that morning. Bring your friends and family as we gather around the table.
Family Contemporary Service @ 5pm, Sanctuary and online*
Join us for a evening of storytelling and songs as we hear the Christmas story and celebrate the arrival of the Light of the world. This family-friendly, contemporary worship service will be led by the OnCenter band and include angels, shepherds, innkeepers and more.
Christmas Concert – This Christmastide – @ 7pm, Sanctuary and online*
The Christmas Eve concert for this year will feature soprano Angela Korbitz from the Chicago Symphony Chorus with string quartet, oboe, piano, and organ. Eric Pidluski, violin; Amelia Korbitz, violin; Azusa Tashiri, viola; and Andrew Molina, cello; The program will include music from African American composers Florence Price and William Grant Still in addition to the Christmas Story, prayer, congregational carols and Christmas music old and new.
Traditional Service @ 11pm, Sanctuary and online
Join us for a traditional worship experience on Christmas Eve. Hear the music of the season as we worship together with choir, orchestra, and hymns of the season. Pastor Jacob will bring an inspiring message and we will conclude our time or worship by lighting candles while singing Silent Night.
