2025 Charge Conference

Please join us on Sunday, December 14 at 5pm for our annual Charge Conference, a sacred moment for our congregation to gather in reflection, thanksgiving, and forward-looking commitment.

This year, we gather in the light of the UMC’s newly adopted vision:

The United Methodist Church forms disciples of Jesus Christ who, empowered by the Holy Spirit, love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously in local communities and worldwide connections. (The United Methodist Church)

Guided by this vision, our Charge Conference will:

• Review and affirm leadership roles for 2026
• Celebrate the ministries, missions, and milestones of 2025
• Receive updates on the Transforming for Tomorrow (T4T) campaign and our shared journey forward
• Formally approve reports and recommendations for the coming year
• Pray together for wisdom, courage, and faith as we live into this vision

Charge Conference is more than a meeting — it’s a moment of faithful discernment, communal blessing, and renewal. All are welcome to attend; while only Church Council members, appointed clergy, retired clergy who hold membership at CUMC, certified lay ministers, certified lay servants/speakers vote. Every voice, presence, and prayer matters as we discern how God is calling our congregation.
