2026 Seed Drive

We thank each of you for your support and commitment to our annual seed drive, which concludes on April 12th. Have you seen those overflowing baskets? If you have not yet had the opportunity to participate, there is still time to get involved. Shop from the display in the back of the Sanctuary or your local hardware store, or donate financially, and we’ll do the shopping for you. Together, we are sharing seeds of hope that will bear fruit for our communities in the months ahead.

All donated seeds will be delivered to Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) senior gardens, Hesed House resident gardens, and Loaves and Fishes market to bless the families and individuals they serve. In 2025, we delivered over 2,000 seed packets to these partners, and the feedback we received was full of gratitude to you all!

You can participate in the Seed Drive in 3 easy ways:

• Purchase seed packets for $1.00 each from the Seed Displays located at the back of the Sanctuary and place them in the basket, or take them home for your own garden.
• Purchase seeds on your own from the store and put them in a basket in the Sanctuary or Welcome Center.
• Make a monetary donation to support the purchase of additional seeds. Place cash or checks (noting Seed Drive) in the offering plate, the lockboxes in the back of the Sanctuary, or the church office after-hours box, or click here to make an online donation – don’t forget to put Seed Drive in the Comments!

Together, we can help grow hope, nourish our neighbors, and make a meaningful difference in our community.
