Music at Community
At Community UMC, you will find a vibrant music ministry that offers opportunities for people of all ages and all musical abilities and backgrounds. Not only will you find hymns and praise music, but you will also be inspired by classical, contemporary, gospel, spirituals and music from around the world. There is a place for you! Community Singers
This loving group of singers of all abilities and backgrounds worships and builds relationships through inspiring music. The choir is made up of people of all ages from 8th grade, high school, college students and up and sings a wide variety of passionate, spirit-filled music.

Community Singers rehearses on Thursday nights from 7:30 pm to 8:45 pm in the Sanctuary and sings in Sunday services three times a month.
Carillon Bells
Led by Kyle Markwell, this heartfelt ensemble expresses their praise through handbell ringing. 8th grade, high school, college students, and adults of all ages who desire to ring are encouraged to participate.
Carillon Bells rehearses Thursday afternoons from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and plays at our 8:30 am Traditional service once a month.
Dance
Rainbow Dancers
For Kindergarten – Grade school. A wonderful way to experience and share our love of God is through dance. We share our dance once a month in the 8:30 am or 11:00 am Worship Services.
Rainbow Dancers rehearse on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm.
Rejoice Dancers
For Junior High – Adults. We will share dances several times this year and rehearse two times before we dance at a time agreed upon by the dancers.

Heart ‘n’ Soul
This intimate group of female singers loves to laugh and build relationships through their offering of music. Women of all ages and abilities from high school and up are encouraged to attend. This ensemble sings a wide variety of music and is led by Joline Bastounes and Amy Hollander.
Heart ‘n’ Soul rehearses on the first and third Tuesday nights from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Chapel and sings in Sunday services twice a month.
OnCenter Band
OnCenter Band, led by Dave Jenkins, includes singers, guitars, bass, keyboards, drums and occasionally other instruments. We express our passion for God and worship through energetic and fun-filled contemporary Christian praise and worship music.
The OnCenter Band rehearses Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary. The band leads worship weekly at our OnCenter contemporary service at 11:00 am on Sundays.

A series of Sunday afternoon concerts at 3:00 pm for Community UMC and the community at large sponsored by Senior Ministries and Music Ministries. The programs are offered free to the public with a love offering and are followed by a reception provided by Senior Ministries.
